Towards a stronger, more valuable business

Is your business performing at the level you know it should be?

Many businesses are growing in revenue but leaking on margin, hitting a ceiling despite lowering costs, or watching cash disappear without a clear explanation. Trent Bridge Advisory works with WA business owners to find the real problem — and fix it. Across strategy, operations and finance.

Sound familiar?

Strong businesses reach inflection points.
Recognising yours is the first step.

01

The Day-to-Day Trap

You have built something real. But the business still runs through you — and the time needed to lead it properly keeps getting consumed by decisions that shouldn't reach your desk.

02

The Glass Ceiling

You have driven the business to where it is through hard work and instinct. The next level requires a different approach — and a clear-eyed view of what needs to change.

03

The Transparency Gap

Revenue is growing and the numbers look reasonable. But cash isn't where it should be and the finance team is confident there's no structural issue. Something doesn't add up — and you're right to question it.

04

The Operational Drag

The team is capable and committed. But the same issues keep surfacing. The business is working harder than it should need to for the results it's producing.

05

The Strategic Fog

You know the business needs to evolve. The direction feels clear in principle but the path forward is harder to commit to when the daily demands of running the business compete for every hour.

We have seen all of these and they are all solvable. The businesses that break through have usually found one thing in common — the right outside perspective at the right time. The result is always the same: a stronger, more valuable business.

Every engagement is structured around a simple principle — the savings or incremental revenue we identify should cover at least half the fee. That is the floor, not the ceiling.

A word from our Managing Director

G'day — give me 30 seconds to show how we could help make your business stronger and increase its value.

I'm Ravi Jain. I've spent the last 30 years as Managing Director & CFO for listed and family owned SMEs engaged in construction, manufacturing, hospitality and professional services in the UK and Australia. By profession I'm a qualified accountant, awarded the CGMA Fellowship some time back and committed to CPD. I'm proud to call Perth home — I've been here for 12 years now with my family, and there is no better place to live and work.

I started Trent Bridge Advisory because I wanted to do something that genuinely made a difference to established and start-up business owners in this city — drawing on everything I've learned across three decades of being in the chair, responsible for the full P&L and balance sheet, the growth strategy, the people and the outcomes. Not from the sideline. In the seat.

Every engagement at Trent Bridge Advisory is handled directly by me — a straight conversation, honest advice and a genuine commitment to building a stronger, more agile and more valuable business.

"Thirty years of sitting in the chair has taught me one thing above all others — the ceiling is almost never where the owner thinks it is." — The Trent Bridge Approach
More about how we work →

How we work

One approach. Three pillars. One result — the 1-3-1.

Trent Bridge Advisory integrates strategy, operations and financial leadership in every engagement — because a stronger, more valuable business is built when all three work together. Think of it like a bridge: one integrated approach, three pillars holding it up, and a stronger, more agile and more valuable business on the other side.

I
Growth

Business Strategy

What would your business look like with a clear, one-page plan that every person in the organisation understands and executes — not a strategy document that lives on a shelf? We work with leadership teams to identify where the real growth opportunities are, make the right calls about where to focus, and build an agile direction the whole business can move behind.

II
Value

Operational Excellence

Strong operational foundations are what allow a business to scale without breaking. We work across the engine room of the business — identifying where value is being created and where it is leaking, and retuning the engine so the business performs at the level the market opportunity demands.

III
Performance

Financial Expertise

The most effective financial leadership spends 1/3 of its time looking in the rear-view mirror and 2/3 looking forward. We provide the strategic financial perspective that empowers confident decisions — funding growth, evaluating new markets, structuring for the next acquisition, and building balance sheet strength for where the business is heading.

The 1-3-1 — one integrated approach, three pillars of support, one result: a stronger, more valuable business.
